Al Hosn App down in the UAE

Abu Dhabi: The UAE's vaccine registry Al Hosn App has been temporarily down for many users in the country on Thursday.

The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) said it is working to resolve the "technical malfunction".

Al Hosn App is used to access many public venues in Abu Dhabi emirate, through the newly launched Green Pass system.

The system came into effect on June 15 as an added layer of protection in public venues to check the spread of COVID-19.
