Dubai: The UAE is expected to see partly cloudy conditions on Sunday, with the possibility of light rain developing overnight in western areas, according to the National Center of Meteorology.

The outlook comes as the country heads into a stretch of humid nights and early mornings, raising the likelihood of fog or mist formation over some inland regions.

The Center said skies will be “partly cloudy in general and cloudy at times westward,” with low clouds moving in over the sea and nearby islands. Light rain may develop late Sunday into Monday morning, particularly over western parts of the country.

Winds will remain light to moderate, occasionally freshening in the west, blowing from the northwest to northeast at 15-25 km/h and reaching up to 35 km/h. The Arabian Gulf is expected to be moderate to slight, while the Sea of Oman will be slight.

The pattern is expected to continue into Monday and Tuesday, with partly cloudy weather and periodic cloud cover westward accompanied by a chance of light showers.

Humidity will increase overnight and during the early hours, especially in internal and western areas, maintaining the risk of fog or mist.

On Wednesday, similar conditions are expected: partly cloudy skies, cloud buildup westward, and a chance of light rain. Winds will shift from southeasterly to northwesterly, remaining light to moderate. Seas in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman will stay slight.
