Abu Dhabi: The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC), part of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi, announced it will organise the Abu Dhabi Public Auction for distinguished licence plate numbers for private vehicles, motorcycles and classic vehicles. The event is being held in collaboration with Emirates Auction, the Middle East’s leading company in managing and organising public and online auctions.

The auction will be held on Saturday, November 22, at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, and will showcase 33 special plate numbers, including Number 3 (Category 2) and Number 10 (Category 12), alongside a range of other exclusive selections.

A strong turnout is anticipated from collectors, investors and enthusiasts seeking rare and distinctive numbers that add prestige and individuality to their vehicles.

Participants can preview the available numbers and access full details on registration procedures, terms and conditions via the Emirates Auction website and smart applications. The auction will begin at 5:00 p.m.

The event is part of the strategic partnership between Emirates Auction and the Integrated Transport Centre, supporting their shared vision to enhance the distinguished plate acquisition experience through professional and transparent auctions that meet public demand for unique licence plates at competitive prices.

Abdullah Saleh Abdullah, Acting Executive Director of the Vehicle and Driver Licensing Sector at the Integrated Transport Centre, said the new auction reflects the Centre’s commitment to offering advanced, customer-focused services within the transport sector.

He noted that the initiative addresses growing public interest in owning unique plate numbers and aligns with the Centre’s strategy to enhance customer satisfaction and improve service quality in line with international standards.

Abdullah emphasised that the auction offers participants the opportunity to obtain distinctive plate numbers through a competitive bidding system characterised by accuracy, transparency, quality and professionalism.
He also praised the ongoing partnership with Emirates Auction and its proven expertise in organising large-scale auctions across the region.
