Kerala expat wins Dh140K on second Big Ticket spin in UAE

An Indian expat from Kerala has won Dh140,000 with his second shot at the spin and win Big Ticket contest.

Firoz Khan was one of four lucky contestants chosen to play the Big Win game, where each participant is guaranteed a cash prize ranging from Dh20,000 to Dh150,000. The three contestants before him had already set the stage for excitement, winning between Dh100,000 and Dh150,000.

From heartbreak to joy

When Khan took the stage, he had his eyes set on the top cash prize.
“I want to win Dh150,000,” he told show host Bouchra with a hopeful smile before giving the wheel a spin.

But when it landed on Dh20,000 – the lowest prize – his heart sank. For a brief moment, it seemed luck had deserted him.

That’s when Bouchra reminded him he still had one more chance. With nothing to lose, Khan spun the wheel again, his eyes fixed on its different segments. The wheel slowed… and then stopped at a staggering Dh140,000.

Relief washed over him, quickly turning into joy.

Winnings to support family

“I will share the winnings with my friends,” Khan said, beaming.
“And I will use my share for my daughter’s education expenses.”

Richard, who rushed out with the cheque, wrapped up the emotional moment with a cheer: “I’m so glad you spun it a second time. Well done. You almost had me scared. Dh140,000 is all yours.”

What is Big Win contest

Individuals who purchase two or more cash tickets in a single transaction during the promotional period are automatically entered into the contest. The names of confirmed participants are announced on the Big Ticket website on the first day of the month. These participants stand a chance to attend the grand prize day live draw, held on the third day of the month, and bag guaranteed cash prizes of up to Dh150,000 in the spin and win contest.
