Aslam Shaik, a Kuwait resident since 2007, runs a mobile shop
An Indian expat from Andhra Pradesh has bagged Dh150,000 in Big Ticket’s Big Win contest.
Aslam Shaik, 42, a mobile shop owner living in Kuwait since 2007, discovered the promotion only six months ago through friends. Since then, he’s been buying tickets as part of a seven-member group. His happiness knew no bounds after he won Dh150,000 – the top prize in the spin and win contest.
“I am truly overjoyed. Words cannot describe how I feel,” said Shaik, who plans to split the prize equally, clear his debts, and reinvest in his business.
The win hasn’t slowed the group’s momentum.
“We’ve already bought our next ticket and will keep trying our luck. I encourage others to do the same,” he added.
Individuals who purchase two or more cash tickets in a single transaction during the promotional period are automatically entered into the contest. The names of confirmed participants are announced on the Big Ticket website on the first day of the month. These participants stand a chance to attend the grand prize day live draw, held on the third day of the month, and bag guaranteed cash prizes of up to Dh150,000 in the spin and win contest.
