Mohammad Hayat, father of four and resident for 28 years, has been trying on his own
A dream two decades in the making has finally come true for Pakistani engineer Mohammad Sikandar Hayat, who has won Dh100,000 in Big Ticket’s Big Win contest.
The 55-year-old mechanical engineer has called Abu Dhabi home for 28 years and for nearly as long, he has been buying Big Ticket entries on his own, always hoping his number would come up.
“Whenever I drop my family at the airport, I make it a point to buy one or two Big Ticket entries,” Hayat said.
This month, his persistence finally paid off.
“You can imagine my surprise when, after 20 years of purchasing, I have finally won. This is truly an incredible feeling, and I am overjoyed,” he said.
A proud father of four daughters, Hayat already knows where the money will go.
“I plan to divide the prize equally among my four daughters.”
But the win hasn’t slowed him down.
“I have already purchased my next ticket and will certainly continue participating. My advice to others is to take part in Big Ticket, as it is sincere, transparent, and a wonderful opportunity.”
What is Big Win contest
