Big Ticket Abu Dhabi: Kerala expat in Dubai wins Dh150,000 in weekly draw

Abu Dhabi: An Indian expat from Kerala, who has been living in Dubai for the past two years, is among the latest winners of the Big Ticket weekly e-draw.
Eldho Thombrayil won Dh150,000 with ticket number 208946.

“I am happy,” said Thombrayil, a 29-year-old material coordinator, while speaking to show host Richard and celebrating his first major Big Ticket win.

Having moved to Dubai two years ago to build his career, Thombrayil discovered Big Ticket through his friends and roommate shortly after arriving. Since then, he has been buying tickets every month as part of a 17-member group that pools money to purchase them.

“I will be sharing this with my friends,” said Thombrayil, one of three Indian expats who won this week.

Looking ahead, Thombrayil remains hopeful of winning again, saying he plans to keep buying Big Ticket entries, keeping the dream alive for himself and his group to one day hit the jackpot.
