Dubai: Global brand Huawei has brought out the latest version of its earbuds, which comes compatible with multiple operating systems, including Android and iOS. The FreeBuds 4 uses a Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) composite diaphragm to deliver high resolution sound and is equipped with a 14.3mm dynamic driver to help produce more impressive bass sounds.

The earbuds can automatically detect the user’s ear shape and wearing condition through its Adaptive Ear Matching (AEM) feature. It also optimise the audio effect that results in consistent audio quality regardless of the wearing situation. A high-sensitivity microphone can record high-fidelity sound supporting a sample rate of up to 48 kHz, and with the use of Huawei AI Life app, users can record surrounding sound with ease as well as ‘voice mode’ to enhance voice pick and reduce environmental noise.

The FreeBuds 4 have adopted the dual-microphone hybrid denoising technology that helps improve noise cancellation. This can allow the earbuds to cancel out up to 25 dB of noise when noise cancellation is turned on. Huawei has designed multiple parameters to help achieve optimal noise-cancellation. Once the user turns on the noise cancellation feature, AEM allows the earbuds to automatically assign the best noise cancellation parameters from several data sets.

Users who love to play first-person shooting games (FPS) will also enjoy the FreeBuds 4, thanks to its low latency mode that uses a new game audio coding that can achieve delay of 150ms in-game and can go as low as 90ms when the shooting action and sound are in sync.

The product is available in the UAE in two colours, including Ceramic White and Silver Frost. It will be available for pre-orders starting from August 5, at Dh569 plus gifts worth Dh200 plus. There is also a special one-year subscription to the company’s Loss Care FreeBuds Service.
