Abu Dhabi: Three shops in New Taif were shut down for breaking health and safety rules, officials said.

“The municipal inspections resulted in the closure of three violating activities that operate without licenses, in addition to the negligence in applying health requirements, poor preservation and storage of materials, poor general hygiene, and low level of preparation tools,” an official said.

The source added more than 29 violations were detected in seven commercial activities, which were identified within the scope of the Taif Municipality.

“Violating activities will be included in the ongoing monitoring programme until the health requirements are implemented,” the source said.
