Abu Dhabi: Saudi customs authorities have eased precautionary measures imposed on the movement of trucks. They will now be allowed them to enter through the land ports from GCC countries that carry goods that will be the final destination in the kingdom.

The move was an implementation of Saudi leadership orders to approve recommendations of the GCC Political and Security Affairs Council, to ease COVID-19 precautionary measures.

The kingdom’s shared borders with the UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain have reopened after four months of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
