Dubai: Saudi Arabia on Saturday reported 1,469 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 287,262, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health.

The ministry also announced 37 more deaths from complications caused by the deadly virus, taking the total number of fatalities to 3,130.

Meanwhile, 1,492 more COVID-19 infected people have fully recovered, raising the total number of recovered cases in the Kingdom to 250,440.The recovery rate has risen to 87 per cent.The ministry said 101 of the newly recorded cases were in Riyadh, while Medina reported 61, Khamis Mushait 52 and Dammam 47.There are 33,692 actives cases, out of which 1,828 are in a critical condition, according to the statement.
