Dubai: Qatar today announced 238 new cases of COVID-19 and two fatalities, the Ministry of Public Health said.

This brings the country’s total number of confirmed infections to 126,965, and its death toll to 218. Out of the total infections, 2,855 are active cases, including 347 that are critical and are still under intensive care.

The ministry also announced that 215 patients have fully recovered from the virus, pushing the total number of recoveries to 124,108.

A further 4,662 people have undergone PCR tests in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of people tested across the country to 810,027.
