Kuwait City: Starting on Wednesday, a cold wave is expected to hit Kuwait that will last throughout the weekend, until Saturday, a Kuwaiti meteorologist has reported.

The average high temperature for next few days will be around 14 degrees Celsius. As for the lowest temperature, it is expected that residential areas, as well as Kuwait City, will reach 4 degrees Celsius and the mercury in desert areas will drop to 0 degrees Celsius.

The cold wave will include northwesterly winds caused by the Siberian high pressure, according to meteorologist Mohammed Karam who published a report on Al Qabas.
