Kuwait: Man and woman arrested for committing indecent acts on public road

Dubai: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior has arrested a young man and a girl for committing indecent acts on a public road, local media reported.

The ministry stated that after the video clip was published on social media, it launched an investigation into the incident and managed to identify and arrest the young man and the girl.

The ministry of interior added that the young man and the girl whose nationalities are yet to be revealed were referred to the competent authorities for further investigations.

Over the past few days, social media users were circulating the video in which the young man and the girl were committing acts contrary to public morals in the middle of the street, which caused widespread anger among the Kuwaiti community, calling on competent authorities to take quick and strict actions.
