Dubai: Kuwait’s anti-corruption authority (Nazaha) has referred an official from the Amiri Diwan and some others to the Public Prosecution on charges of facilitating the seizure of public funds, Al Qabas daily reported.

In a statement issued yesterday, the Nazaha stated, “The crime committed by the aforementioned official and others [falls under] Article 10 of Law No. 1/1993 regarding the protection of public funds. We will not hesitate to prosecute those involved in corruption." Nazaha added it is still receiving serious reports about corruption incidents. "All reports are subjected to investigation and vetting”.
