Brazilian fitness influencer Diana Areas dies at 39 after high-rise fall

Brazilian bodybuilder and Instagram influencer Diana Areas, 39, has died after reportedly falling from a high-rise apartment building, according to media reports.

The incident took place outside the Unique Towers condominium on Thursday, according to local Brazilian media reports cited by the New York Post and People Magazine.

Prior to the fall, authorities had responded to an emergency call at her residence, where she was discovered with cuts on her body.

The fire department reportedly took her to a nearby hospital for treatment, but she left without formal discharge and returned to her apartment.

Authorities have not shared further details about the events leading to her death, People Magazine reported.

The Ferreira Machado Hospital (HFM) stated that Areas was admitted around 7:30 am with cuts on her wrists and neck. She received stitches, a tetanus shot, and was treated by multiple medical professionals.

By 10:30 am, she had left the hospital without authorization, according to J3News.

Areas gained a large following for sharing bodybuilding routines, fitness tips, and nutrition advice. She also promoted her “Revolution 90” method, claiming it transformed hundreds of lives.

Her passing has sparked grief among her over 200,000 Instagram followers, with many leaving heartfelt tributes on social media.
