Dubai: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) reported that today's weather across the UAE is generally fair, with temperatures reaching extreme highs. The lowest temperature recorded this morning was 21.2°C in Barakah 2, Al Dhafra region at 5am. In stark contrast, Sweihan in Al Ain sizzled at 50°C - the highest temperature recorded in the country as of 1:45pm.

Residents can expect humid conditions tonight and into Saturday morning, especially along coastal areas. Winds will be light to moderate, picking up at times and causing blowing dust during the day.

Looking ahead, Saturday's forecast will bring a slight drop in temperatures, with partly cloudy skies and dusty conditions at times. The NCM warns of moderate to fresh northwesterly winds, reaching speeds of 15 to 30 km/h, and up to 40 km/h, which may lead to reduced horizontal visibility in exposed areas due to sand and dust.

Maritime conditions are expected to worsen, with rough seas forecast in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough conditions developing in the Oman Sea by evening.

The weather bureau also advised that temperature fluctuations will continue across the UAE over the coming days.
