The Met Office also forecasts a decrease in temperatures
Dubai: Dusty weather conditions, that covered major parts of the country last evening and this morning, will continue across parts of the country tomorrow, April 17.
According to an official at the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), “the northwesterly winds will persist today and tomorrow, impacting the country with blowing sand and dust, leading to reduced visibility and a noticeable drop in temperatures.”
The forecast also states horizontal visibility will be reduced at times, with wind speeds reaching up to 50 km/hr.
“Northwesterly winds will continue until April 20, fresh at times,” the official added. Fresh winds mean wind speeds would range from light to moderate and sometimes strong, which may cause blowing dust in parts of the country.
However, dusty weather conditions will not be as extreme as last evening and this morning, the official stated.
The sea is expected to be rough to very rough tomorrow, in the Arabian Gulf and moderate, becoming rough at times in Oman Sea.
