Earthquake of magnitude 4.2 strikes Southern Iran

Dubai: An earthquakes of magnitude 4.2 hit southern Iran in the early hours of Wednesday, according to UAE's National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The quake occurred at 6:21am UAE time and at a depth of 10km, it said.

But the tremors did not have any impact on the UAE, the NCM said.
