Sharjah: Al-Burj Square in Sharjah will be closed for ten days, starting today, July 6, and until July 16, Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has announced.
SRTA tweeted: “To complete the development and raise the efficiency of roads in the Emirate of #Sharjah, the authority notes that the closure of Al-Burj Square will be implemented in order to complete the maintenance and raise the efficiency of Al Mina Street.”
Use alternative routes
SRTA also tweeted a map showing the alternative roads and urged motorists to “follow the traffic and directional signs to avoid traffic congestion”. SRTA also apologised for any inconvenience caused by the road works.
