Dubai: The Dubai Mall, which earned the title of the most visited destination on Earth in 2024, has announced a series of temporary traffic and access changes as part of its ongoing major expansion.

In a social media post, the mall management stated: "Attention: Due to ongoing expansion, specific internal roads and access points at #DubaiMall are temporarily redirected. Kindly use other entrances."

Shoppers and visitors are advised to plan ahead as key internal roads, exit ramps, and valet services are being redirected to facilitate construction work.

The mall management has confirmed that the Lower and Upper Financial Centre exit ramps are now closed, along with the Grand Drive Valet service.

For the time being, traffic is being rerouted through Grand Drive and the Cinema Parking P3 zone.

Grand Parking to be shut

The mall has announced that the Grand Parking area will temporarily shut down in June, with a revamped Grand Drive expected to open by August.

The Grand Drive, which provides direct access to the mall, is situated between the Mall and the magnificent Water Terraces.

Allow extra travel time

“For a smoother exit experience, follow signage and allow extra travel time. Thank you for your patience,” the management stated.

The temporary changes are part of the mall’s efforts to accommodate its growing number of visitors and enhance the overall customer experience during its expansion phase.
