BAPS offered prayers for innocent victims, their families and recovery of injured
Abu Dhabi: The BAPS Hindu Mandir, a traditional hand-carved stone temple in Abu Dhabi, has expressed deep sorrow and solidarity following the recent terror attack in India’s Kashmir region, which claimed the lives of at least 26 people.
Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS), the religious organisation that built the temple, strongly condemned the tragic incident.
In a heartfelt message titled ‘Prayers for Pahalgam’, BAPS offered prayers led by its spiritual leader, Mahant Swami Maharaj, for the innocent victims, their families, and the recovery of the injured.
“We also pray that in this hour of deep grief and shock, may the whole world unite to take conscious and collective action to uproot terrorism everywhere and anywhere in the world,” the BAPS said in a message calling for global peace and solidarity.
The attack has drawn widespread condemnation from world leaders and public figures, while Indian security forces have launched an extensive manhunt to bring the perpetrators to justice.
