Abu Dhabi: UAE confirmed the detection of 1,431 new coronavirus cases and 2 deaths on Wednesday. 1,652 recoveries were also announced by the Ministry of Health and Prevention.

The total cases confirmed in the UAE have crossed 110,000 while total recoveries stand at 101,659. The death toll after Wednesday's update is 450.

The ministry added that 103,132 COVID-19 tests were done over the past few days which led to the confirmation of the new coronavirus cases.
