Abu Dhabi: The UAE Cabinet has announced that tomorrow Monday, February 12, 2024, will be a remote work day for all federal government employees.
The decision excludes those in roles that necessitate being physically present at the workplace.
Additionally, it has been announced that government schools will operate remotely on this day.

The National Center of Meteorology has reported that the weather on Sunday will transition from partly cloudy to cloudy, featuring convective clouds associated with rainfall of varying intensities, along with lightning and thunder over scattered areas.
This unstable weather is expected to persist into Monday, accompanied by a significant drop in temperatures across the UAE, potentially reaching as low as 2 to 4 degrees Celsius in some regions, including Ajman, Fujairah, Dubai, and Umm Al Quwain.
Furthermore, the weather advisory highlighted that the sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea would range from moderate to rough due to the prevailing weather conditions on both days.
This move to remote work and learning is aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of federal employees and students amidst the forecasted adverse weather conditions.
