Dubai: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the National Search and Rescue Centre of the National Guard, successfully evacuated an Emirati woman who had suffered severe injuries in a traffic accident in Oman.

Initially admitted to Ibri Hospital in the Sultanate of Oman, the woman was subsequently airlifted to the UAE with the assistance and cooperation of Omani authorities.

The National Guard’s search and rescue aircraft transported her back to the UAE, where she will continue her medical treatment.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised the Omani authorities for their vital role in facilitating the successful medical evacuation. They also emphasised the importance of road safety and adherence to traffic regulations, urging UAE citizens to exercise heightened caution while travelling.
