UAE: Distance learning for all schools in Abu Dhabi extended till Friday

Measure in place since Tuesday, when record-high rains had peaked in the country

Abu Dhabi: Distance learning has been extended for all schools in the emirate of Abu Dhabi until Friday, April 19, Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) announced on Wednesday.

The measure was put in place on Tuesday amid record-high rains in the UAE. All public schools and private schools in Dubai and Sharjah have also announced that classes will be held online till the end of the working week.
