Dubai RTA renames Jebel Ali Metro Station to National Paints for 10 years

Dubai: One of Dubai Metro’s key stations on the Red Line is getting a new name as part of the Roads and Transport Authority’s (RTA) naming rights programme.

Jebel Ali Metro Station will now be known as National Paints Metro Station for the next 10 years, the Dubai Media Office announced.

New branding rollout to appear across signage, maps, and announcements

The new name will appear across all station signage, metro maps, directional boards inside trains and stations, and in the audio announcements.

The rebranding also includes updates to the smart apps and digital platforms used by Dubai Metro commuters.

The move is part of RTA’s ongoing naming rights programme, which enables companies to acquire branding rights at select stations across the metro network.

The Dubai Metro Naming Rights Project, launched in 2009, has seen multiple well-known companies align themselves with major stations, boosting brand visibility while supporting the city’s transit ecosystem.

The station, located at the southern end of the Red Line, serves as a key interchange and gateway for commuters travelling to and from Abu Dhabi, JAFZA, and the Expo corridor.

With this rebranding, National Paints joins a list of other prominent companies that have secured naming rights on Dubai’s Metro network
