Floodlit beach offers food service, family-friendly amenities until midnight
Abu Dhabi: Fancy a dip at the beach after dark? Abu Dhabi just made it possible.
The capital's first-ever night swimming beach is now open at Marsana East Beach on Hudayriyat Island – offering residents and tourists a cool new way to beat the summer heat.
Starting this July and running through the end of September, the popular hangout spot will come alive after sunset, with floodlights illuminating the shoreline and professional lifeguards on duty until 10pm on weekdays and midnight on weekends. The beach will also feature cozy loungers for relaxing by the shore – ideal for parents enjoying quality time with their children.
But the beach promises more than just swimming. With extended evening hours, family-friendly activities, themed summer events, and exclusive dining offers from eight buzzing eateries, it’s set to become the capital’s go-to night destination.
As part of Abu Dhabi’s expanding leisure landscape, the night beach adds another attraction to Hudayriyat Island. Visitors can enjoy premium amenities, including luxury beach furniture, complimentary towels, and mini coolers stocked with fresh water.
They can also take advantage of an on-demand food and beverage service from Marsana’s cafés and restaurants – ordered via a QR code and delivered straight to their beach spot for a seamless dining experience.
