Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2025: Fun-filled weekend for the whole family

Abu Dhabi: The seventh edition of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS) is underway at ADNEC Marina Hall and runs until November 23, 2025.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan and organised by the ADNEC Group, the event invites families, marine enthusiasts, and industry professionals to explore the latest in marine technology, sustainability, and leisure experiences.

ADIBS 2025 creates a confluence of tradition and modernity, celebrating the UAE's maritime heritage whilst showcasing advancements in watercraft technology. With activities for seasoned maritime veterans and families seeking leisure, the event promises an inclusive experience. The indoor spaces brim with new marine technologies, while the marina comes alive with performances, culinary delights, and artistic exhibitions, exemplifying the vibrant coastal culture of the city.

Among the headliners is the Jaywun, Abu Dhabi's advanced marine research vessel. Visitors enjoy guided tours and demonstrations highlighting the vessel’s scientific contributions to marine conservation in the UAE. Meanwhile, the SeaWorld Research Centre offers an engaging arena for children with a focus on marine biology and conservation. The Young Voyager area further enriches young minds by merging scientific education with entertainment.

Workshops and interactive sessions abound, encouraging families to delve deeper into environmental stewardship and oceanic knowledge. Visitors are entertained by performers like the Crab Stilt Duo and the colossal inflatable flamingo, Captain ADIBS, an icon in pursuit of a Guinness World Record™ for the largest inflatable pool float.

Throughout the event, the agenda is filled with performances, processions, and culinary experiences showcasing both Emirati and international traditions. The 2025 debut of the Charter Show places superyachts on centre stage, underscoring Abu Dhabi's eminence in marine luxury and tourism. The Superyacht Lounge becomes a haven for industry networking, highlighting collaboration between marine tourism and creative sectors through partnerships like Twofour54.

The newly introduced Sunset Terrace offers a tranquil retreat with stunning marina views at twilight. The Boulevard introduces a Shopping Zone where maritime-themed brands captivate visitors with the latest offerings. Additionally, SailGP invites guests to engage with thrilling sailing demonstrations, rounding out a schedule rich with heritage and forward-looking initiatives.
