Dubai: Finding a parking space can be a challenge, especially late at night or during peak hours when many areas have restricted timings. Fortunately, several parking lots and spaces operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, without free parking on Sundays or specific time limits for paid parking.

Knowing where 24/7 parking is available can save motorists time, help avoid fines, and is particularly important in areas with high congestion, as well as in residential and mixed-use communities and shopping malls.

1. Multi-storey car parking in Dubai

Multi-storey parking operated by Parkin charges parking rates seven days a week, starting at Dh5 per hour and Dh40 for 24 hours. There are eight multi-storey parking buildings in key areas of Dubai:

  • Al Ghubaiba

  • Al Sabkha

  • Naif

  • Oud Metha

  • Al Satwa

  • Al Rigga

  • Bani Yas

  • Al Jaffiliya

These facilities operate without barriers or traditional ticketing systems. Upon entry, your vehicle’s licence plate is automatically captured. Payment can be made through on-site payment machines, which accept cash and card, or through the Parkin app for digital transactions.

2. 24-hour paid parking at 59 mosques in Dubai

New parking zones – Tariff M and MP – are now active near mosques. Worshippers are offered one hour of free parking during prayer times, while 24-hour paid parking applies outside these hours.

3. 24/7 paid parking in Al Khail Gate

A 24/7 paid parking zone was introduced in Al Khail Gate in July. The designated zone, Zone 365N, has a flat daily rate of Dh30 and is enforced every day of the week, including Sundays. Parking starts at Dh4 for one hour.

4. Parking areas managed by Parkonic

Parkonic operates thousands of private parking spaces in residential areas, popular tourist attractions and malls. Their parking spots charge motorists 24 hours a day, seven days a week, although some locations offer free parking for a limited time.

Examples include Palm West Beach, which offers free parking for the first 30 minutes, and Dubai Marina Mall, which offers free parking for the first three hours on weekdays and four hours on weekends. Each location has its own rules regarding free parking, and signs are clearly displayed.

Salik and Parkonic have partnered with Dubai Holding to deploy the region’s first fully autonomous, AI-powered parking solution across key communities in the emirate.

5. Dubai Mall Salik parking

Dubai Mall introduced a paid parking system in July 2024 in partnership with Salik. Certain parking zones remain free, while fees for paid zones are automatically deducted from the vehicle owner’s Salik account without barriers or tickets.

Upon entry, your vehicle’s plate is scanned and linked to your Salik account. When you exit, the system calculates the time spent and deducts the parking fee automatically. On weekdays, parking is free for up to four hours, and on weekends it is free for up to six hours.
