Dubai: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health has appointed Najah Falah Al Azmi as Director of the Ministry’s office in Al Qurayyat Governorate, the first appointment of its kind for a woman at the regional or provincial level.

With an extensive background in healthcare administration, Al Azmi has played a pivotal role in improving local health services, overseeing numerous development projects, and driving strategic initiatives in Al Qurayyat over the years.

The decision, announced by the Ministry of Health, comes under the direct guidance and support of Minister of Health Fahad Al Jalajel, and is part of ongoing efforts to bring more women into decision-making positions, especially in fields that impact community well-being.
