Dubai: Qatar today announced 250 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the overall number of infections in the country to 124,213.

No new fatalities have been reported during the past 24 hours, keeping the country’s death tally at 212, the Ministry of Public Health said.

The ministry also announced that 257 infected people have fully recovered, pushing the total recovered cases to 121,263.

Active cases are now 2,950, including 426 that are critical and 62 seriously ill and still receiving intensive care.

Additional 6,039 people PCR tests have been conducted during the last 24 hours, pushing the total number of people tested across the country to 745,130.
