Dubai: Qatar announced 227 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 125,546.
No new deaths have been reported during the past 24 hours, keeping the country’s fatality tally at 214, the Ministry of Public Health said during its daily coronavirus update today.

A further 251 infected people have fully recovered, pushing the total recovered cases to 122,699.
The ministry also announced that active cases have dropped to 2,847, including 420 critical cases and 56 seriously ill patients who are still under intensive care.
An additional 5,701 people have taken PCR tests during the last 24 hours, pushing the total number of people tested across the country to 775,914.
