Dubai: Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health announced on Monday 252 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections to 3,231.

The ministry also announced the recovery of 59 cases of the disease, bringing the total recoveries in Qatar to 334 cases.

The new cases are due to people having been in contact with positive cases among citizens and residents. The newly infected have been placed under complete isolation and are receiving necessary medical care.

The Ministry of Public Health called on all members of society to stay at home and not to go out except where absolutely necessary.

The Ministry also requested all members of society to cooperate fully and adhere to all health guidelines and preventive measures to reduce the risk of infection, including sticking to social and physical distancing guidelines. The Ministry also recommends that you regularly visit the MOPH website for the most up-to-date guidance on how to stay safe.
