Dubai: Qatar today announced 213 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the country’s total number of confirmed infections to 127,176, the Ministry of Public Health said.

No new fatalities have been reported in the last 24 hours, keeping the death tally at 218.

The ministry also announced that 219 patients have fully recovered from the virus, pushing the total number of recoveries to 124,327.

Of the total infections, 2,849 are active cases, including 361 that are critical and are still under intensive care.

An additional 4,994 PCR tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of people tested across the country to 815,021.
