The patent titled Vehicle Emergency Device – Paramedic, contributes to reducing the level of human error in locating the accident, and achieving the highest level of integration required in emergency response.

Ali bin Salem Al Busaidi, said that the device comes with many modern and advanced technologies and limits the possibility of acute injuries through its integrated contact management.

The device also enables the concerned authorities to reach the site of the accident in the shortest possible period of time.

Text messages

Ali said that the vehicle emergency device establishes contact with the driver and automatically sends text messages from the vehicle in the event of an emergency.

As these messages contain vehicle data, determining the time of the accident, and other necessary data, becomes easier. The device also contains a set of smart rescue devices for various types of emergency situations including automatic fire extinguishing machine, smart first aid box, drowning rescue device, heart rate sensor, and a system for opening doors and windows of the car immediately after the accident to avoid suffocation.

The Ministry also called on all patent applicants to initiate registration of their patents with the Ministry of Intellectual Property Department, to safeguard their discovery from potential threats of infringement and copying without permission. Ends
