Central blood bank in Baushar suffers from a sharp shortage in blood supply

Dubai: The Omani Department of Blood Bank Services (DBBS), has called on citizens and residents to donate blood as the central blood bank suffers from a sharp shortage in blood supply.

In a statement issued today, the DBBS said: “The Central Blood Bank in Baushar suffers from a sharp shortage in blood supply. We call on everyone to hasten to donate blood. We also call on groups that used to organise campaigns to donate blood previously to take the initiative to organise these campaigns according to the precautionary measures followed. Those interested can book an appointment to donate blood at Central Blood Bank in Baushar by calling 24591255 or sending a WhatsApp message to 94555648,” the statement added.
