Dubai: A total of 43 labourers have been arrested in Oman for illegally selling drinking water in public places and roads, the Omani Ministry of Manpower (MOM) said today.

The Joint Inspection Team arrested the workers and legal measures are being taken against them.

The ministry called on employers to follow up on the living conditions of their workers and meet their basic requirements in the current circumstances.
