Man arrested in Kuwait for posting indecent clips on social media

Dubai: The Kuwaiti Cybercrime Department arrested a person who posted offensive and indecent clips on his account in the social media, Al Rai daily reported.

The Directorate General of Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry stated that as part of efforts to combat cyber-crimes and controlling everything that violates public morals, the Cyber Crime Department, through its follow-up and monitoring of all that is published on websites, has managed to arrest an account holder who had published clips contrary to public morals.

The security authorities said when the suspect was summoned for interrogation, he admitted to the charge. He has been handed over to the Public Prosecution.
