Cairo: Kuwait Tuesday confirmed 587 new cases of the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours, taking the country’s overall infections to 104,568, the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA reported.
Two more deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded, raising Kuwait’s fatality tally due to the disease to 607, the Health Ministry’s spokesman Dr Abdullah Al Sanad said.
There are 127 patients receiving intensive care treatment, he added in an update.
Kuwait’s total virus tests have reached 742,797 after 4,014 tests have been done over the past 24 hours.
The Health Ministry said that the overall recoveries in Kuwait have climbed to 96,049 after 538 more patients have recovered from COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
