Dubai: A 36-year-old expatriate reported being severely beaten by his ex-wife outside his residence in Kuwait’s Hawally on Thursday, January 16.

The man filed a complaint at a local police station, supported by a medical report from a government hospital confirming his injuries.

According to security sources, the victim described a shocking encounter in which his ex-wife, six years his junior, arrived unexpectedly at his home, calling out to him from outside.

When he stepped out to investigate, he was met with verbal abuse, which escalated into physical assault, leaving him with visible injuries. Witnesses were reportedly present during the altercation, although the motive behind the attack remains unclear. The case is currently under investigation.

In a separate incident, a 31-year-old man lodged an assault complaint at the Andalusia police station, accusing his older brother of attacking him during a heated family dispute.

The victim submitted a medical report documenting bruises and abrasions sustained in the altercation.
