Kuwait: Wife sues husband for beating her repeatedly

Dubai: A case of domestic violence has been filed at the Jaber Al Ahmad Police Station after all attempts by officers and the public investigator failed to get a Kuwaiti couple to patch up their differences, Al Anba daily reported.

The wife insisted on filing a complaint against her husband due to what she described as ‘repeated assaults’.

She told police after the last assault which allegedly happened Tuesday, she was determined to put an end to her suffering. She also attached a medical report to her complaint showing injuries and abrasions on her body.

The wife was asked to sit down with one of the officers specializing in dealing with family issues, but she confirmed that her last beating incident was not the first, but rather her husband beat her several times earlier.
