Cairo: Kuwait today confirmed it had recorded 553 new cases of the coronavirus over the past 24 hours, a drop of 183 cases compared to the tally reported the day before, taking the country’s overall infections to 94,764.
Two more deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded, raising Kuwait’s fatality tally due to the disease to 560, the Health Ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad said.

There are 94 patients receiving intensive care treatment, Dr. Al Sanad added, according to the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA.
Kuwait’s total virus tests have reached 675,742 after 2,739 tests have been done over the past 24 hours.
The Health Ministry also said that the overall recoveries in Kuwait have climbed to 84,995 after 591 more patients have recovered from COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
