5,278 infections have now been reported in Gulf state; 400 have died so far

Dubai: Another 295 more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Kuwait, bringing the overall to 5,278, Kuwait’s Ministry of Health said Monday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, two more deaths in the past 24 hours have been confirmed, pushing the country’s death toll to 40, the Ministry’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad said in his daily press briefing.
Meanwhile, Kuwait’s Health Minister Sheikh Dr. Basel Al Sabah said that the coronavirus recoveries have climbed to 1,947 in total after 171 people more were cured.
The cases were proven negative according to laboratory and radiological tests, the minister said. They will be transferred to the rehabilitation wing of hospital, designated to receive those infected with the virus, in preparation for their discharge in the next two days.
