Dubai: Bahrain has reported 406 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 11,804, the Ministry of Health announced on Monday.

A total of 140 cases of the newly detected cases are expatriate workersaccording to ministry.

266 of today’s total contracted the virus from direct contact with active cases.

The ministry also revealed that 387 COVID-29 patients have recovered, taking the overall number to 7,070.

Now new deaths were reported today, keeping the Kingdom’s death toll at 19.

In a series of tweets, the ministry said there are currently 39 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 11 are in a critical condition. 4,704 cases are stable out of a total of 4,715 active cases.
