Dubai: Bahrain on Tuesday recorded 386 new cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of confirmed infections in the kingdom to 44,397 including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
A 38-year-old Bahraini man and a 68-year-old male citizen died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 164.
The Health Ministry revealed that of today’s 386 new cases, 153 were expatriate workers and 233 contacts of local cases.
It said an additional 242 people recovered from COVID-19, taking the total number of recoveries to 41,209.
There are currently 38 COVID-19 cases in a critical condition, and 101 cases receiving treatment. 2,987 cases are stable out of a total of 3,025 active cases. The kingdom has conducted 912,111 virus tests.
