Dubai: The UAE experienced another sweltering day as temperatures soared to 46.6°C in Al Shawamekh, Abu Dhabi, recorded at 2:30pm — the highest in the country today. In stark contrast, the coldest spot was Jais Mountain in Ras Al Khaimah, which registered a brisk 21.8°C at 4:30am.

According to the National Center of Meteorology, today’s weather remained generally fair, with some convective clouds forming in the eastern regions, which may bring light afternoon rainfall.

Looking ahead, Wednesday’s forecast promises similar conditions — fair skies overall, with cloud build-up expected eastward. Humidity is set to increase overnight and into Thursday morning, especially along coastal areas.

Winds will range from light to moderate, blowing Southeasterly to Northeasterly at 10–20 km/h, occasionally gusting up to 35 km/h, possibly stirring up blowing dust during the day. Seas will remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
