Dubai: Temperatures across the UAE are on the rise today, with fair to partly cloudy skies expected, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).

Inland regions will experience the highest heat, with temperatures forecast to range between 40°C and 45°C. Coastal areas and islands are also heating up, with expected highs of 38°C to 43°C. In the mountains, residents can expect slightly cooler conditions, with temperatures between 31°C and 38°C.

The hottest spot in the country yesterday was Sweihan in Al Ain, where the mercury soared to 43.6°C at 3pm.

Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the southeast to northeast at speeds between 10 and 25 km/h, occasionally reaching up to 30 km/h. Maritime conditions remain calm, with slight seas in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

As the UAE heads deeper into the warmer months, residents are advised to stay hydrated and limit outdoor exposure during peak hours.
