The drill aims to test emergency readiness and ensure rapid response
Dubai: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will conduct a joint emergency simulation at Gold Souq Metro Station in the early hours of Sunday, April 27.
The drill, part of RTA's approved 2025 plan, is aimed at testing emergency readiness and ensuring rapid response capabilities.
Scheduled from 1:00 am to 5:00 am, the exercise will involve key emergency services and transport stakeholders to ensure effective handling of crisis situations.
Participating entities include the Roads and Transport Authority, Keolis MHI (Dubai Metro and Tram operator), Dubai Police, the Transport Security Department, and Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services.
RTA emphasised that the drill aims to enhance preparedness and improve coordination between agencies in emergency situations.
