Dubai: Residents in Abu Dhabi be cautious as a dust alert has been issued.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM), issued a yellow dust alert this afternoon over parts of Abu Dhabi. They have advised motorists and residents to be on the lookout in case they have any outdoor activities planned.

Earlier this morning a yellow alert was issued over the Arabian Gulf and parts of Dubai, as rough sea conditions and foggy skies were reported.

Residents are also advised to stay safe and hydrated as temperature highs are expected to be between 34 and 40 degree Celsius. The lowest temperature recorded today was 24.2 degree Celsius over Barakah 2 in Al Dhafra region.

Light to moderate winds are also expected today, as wind speeds will reach up to 40 km/hr over internal, and coastal and island regions.
